Chest having painted panels flanked by split spindle appliques, heavy iron bale handles at ends, cleated and paneled top having forged iron strap hinges, interior lidded till, all supported on bulbous bun feet as well as a cupboard having remains of paint, chip carved paneled doors having geometric and floral motifs, framed by chip carved surround fronting a case roughly assembled from never painted planks (drilled for electronics), containing three fixed shelves and three adjustable

Condition: Good to Fair, overall moderate to heavy wear consistent with normal use, chest having split top board, loss to a split spindle, another split spindle loose, lock missing, worn paint, dirt accumulation, cupboard appears to be a salvaged carpenter-made built-in, having remnants of paint and drip marks from being stripped while on its back, scars from missing hardware, splits and gaps to plank case, dirt accumulation
