(4) items including (2) goluk style cane machetes / swords including one having blade of possible European manufacture marked ‘LOVEWMW’, both having ornamented handles and reed-lashed wood scabbards; a Masai style double-edged machete / sword having widening leaf shaped blade, dinosaur stamp in blade and leather-wrapped wood scabbard including integrated belt loop; and a decorative carved wood dagger with a wide, double-edged form

Provenance: The Estate of George ‘Yorgo’ Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000
