c.1920 demonstrating the rotation of the moon around the earth, the earth and Venus around the sun, the phases of the moon and Venus, using a chain drive and gears, turned wood stand having a round brass stepped base, printed seasons, signs of the zodiac and months, painted maple arms, brass placard inset on main arm marked ‘Trippensee Manufacturing Company, serial #11565, Detroit, MI’ and a compass, globe marked ‘Tripp’ in cartouche
