Having stitched upper and lower case alphabets, numbers (each line separated by a different decorative band) and a devotional poem above a floral garland beneath which birds, flowers and flower baskets are arrayed, dated 1826 and inscribed ‘Ann Hassard Halforde Work Finished In The Eleventh Year of Her Age’, all within a floral border, behind acrylic in a wood frame
