Signed ‘Galle’ in cameo glass on shade and base, marked ‘Special Made in France’ on underside; domed shade and bulbous base having an overlay of red cameo peonies and leaves on a frosted background; bronze collar and a 3-arm spider having scarab end pieces; rewired with modern sockets and a European 240 plug, illuminating base and shade

Condition: Good, light wear consistent with age and use, dirt accumulation; shade having small bubbles, 0.50-inch missing patina on inside rim possibly from rubbing, some whiter spots on top, smaller areas of tape and label residue inside; base having areas of minute white specks; working when tested
