Undated, signed lower right, depicting a mother embracing her child in gilt gesso frame having conservator label on reverse

Height: 25 inches, Width: 20 1/2 inches (sight)
Frame Size: 33 inches by 28 3/4 inches
Condition: Good, overall light wear consistent with age and normal use, painting having undergone professional conservation by Barry Bauman’s The Chicago Conservation Center in 1997 including cleaning, relining, re-stretching and re-varnishing with minimal inpainting, slight bulges to canvas upper left quadrant, faint stretcher mark running horizontally across center most visible in upper left and lower left quadrants, fine craquelure throughout without lifting or flaking, light dirt accumulation, light wear to frame
