(4) items including a Babanki elephant mask; a Dogon mother and child oil lamp / censer having a reservoir behind head; a snake decorated dagger / utensil handle; all above of copper alloy; and an iron ‘currency bell’ from the Nkutsu / Jonga People of the Democratic Republic of the Congo
Provenance: The Estate of George ‘Yorgo’ Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000
