Asian Carved Wood Assortment
(3) items including a South Asian architectural panel retaining integral tenons at upper and lower ends, depicting a Hindu female deity; a Tibetan skull motif finial having traces of red and white pigment, mounted to stacked wood stands; and a finial having traces of pigment and a peg for insertion to a larger work
Provenance: The Estate of George ‘Yorgo’ Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000

Condition: Good, overall light to moderate wear consistent with normal use; panel having heavy encrustation; Tibetan finial lacks figure that would have stood in the key-hole shaped opening, chip to stand
