Undated, initial signed ‘Wma’ lower right; depicting a cottage having thatched roof with a pond in the foreground and hills, trees and clouds in the background; in a bronze tone wood and plaster frame having artist attribution and location plaque and floral adornments
Height: 11 1/2 inches, Width: 17 1/2 inches (sight)
Frame Size: 16 5/8 inches by 22 1/2 inches
Condition: Good, overall light wear consistent with age and normal use; craquelure overall consistent with age; stretcher marks throughout; light, curving 12-inch scratch from lower left to upper right quadrant resulting in minor pigment loss and exposure of primer layer; frame having repairs and missing areas of adornment to lower left corner (some included)
