1848, signed and dated lower left, portraying a woman standing next to a child sitting on a donkey, accompanied by two dogs; matted and under glass in a gilt frame
Property from: a Highland Park, Illinois collector
Height: 22 1/2 inches, Width: 27 1/2 inches (sight)
Frame Size: 33 1/4 inches by 39 inches
Condition: Good, ghosting from a prior frame / mat along left edge, painting may have slipped in current frame; scratches to lower left quadrant; possible moisture damage in (2) areas on right side, measuring 2-inches by 1.5-inches and 6-inches by 4-inches; frame having occasional cracks, chips, losses; light dirt accumulation overall
