Late 19th-early 20th century, hand painted having a cobalt blue ground, signed lower left ‘Poitevin’; depicting an aristocratic young couple walking surrounded by various flora, a classical landscape on opposite side; mounted on a plinth having gilded bronze clawed feet

Condition: Very Good, crazing throughout; missing lid; some areas of light wear to the ormolu; base somewhat loose
