Greek Revival Style Architectural Wood Columns
Pair of fluted wood columns having simple turned Doric style capitals; made up of glued blocks and turned, leaving the center hollow to reduce weight; architectural salvage, stripped down to bare wood
Height: 98 inches, Diameter: 10 inches (diameter of capitals and plinths)
Condition: Very Good, occasional minor separation at joins between glued-up blocks; a large chip to a capital and other occasional chips to edges overall; the large chip and other flaws patched using wood filler; capitals a little loose and out of alignment; overall light to moderate wear consistent with normal use
