1949, stamped ‘Madoura Plein Feu, ‘ ‘Empreinte Originale de Picasso’ and having a figure verso, reference A.R. 84 in ‘Picasso, Catalogue of the Edited Ceramic Works’ by Alain Ramie, made from white earthenware, using a slip application and enamel underglaze in black, white and blue, an abstract depiction of four interlaced profiles

Condition: examined under UV lighting, no restoration or inpainting noted, crazing overall, some minor discoloration on backside, underside of edge having surface irregularities from trimming after de-modeling, several glaze skips and a glaze chip
