Spanish Colonial Crucifix on Stand
A crucifix of wood and gesso on papier mache Santo Christo in two pieces, having a sterling silver heart shaped background and crown of thorns as well as a velvet loin cloth, metallic thread and appliques set in large rounded base

Height: 59 1/2 inches, Diameter: 16 inches (including base)
Condition: overall light wear consistent with normal use, mixed metal finial tilted, background tarnished and minor scratches, crown may have been replaced, loin cloth having heavy wear, areas of velvet worn to backing, figure having cracks overall, missing gesso on ankle, base having nicks chips, cracks and finish wear, some metal unmarked but XRF and acid tested 0.925 silver
